Tesla's new end to end FSD stack for the highway is here, and it's time to put it to the test. We started in San Francisco with 88% on the battery of our Tesla Model 3 Performance and drove the car on FSD until the battery hit 0% in Kettleman City, California. Zero interventions were required to reach the destination.
Towards the end of the drive I did lower the max speed to avoid the battery dying and leaving me stranded on the highway, but I only set it to what the Tesla nav system explicitly recommended, mirroring how unsupervised FSD might perform.
