First Drive With Tesla Autopilot Hardware 4! FSD Beta 11.4.4
A first FSD Beta 11.4.4 drive on Hardware 4 from San Francisco to Fremont, with three takeovers in the city before a smoother highway stretch.
In my first drive with Tesla Autopilot Hardware 4, I drive to OCDetailing in Fremont to get my car ceramic coated. I am on FSD Beta 11.4.4, which came pre-installed on the car.
There were three takeovers on this trip. The first was when FSD wanted to turn into a bus lane. The second is when it got stuck behind a stopped truck. The third was when it got struck in the middle of an intersection, obstructing the flow of traffic. After getting out of the city it was smoother sailing for the rest of the highway drive. I think hardware 3 could have done it better, but not a bad start for the new hardware 4! Will be interesting to track how things improve from here.
